Malaga advances technologically and introduces a new augmented reality initiative with SNAPCHAT

The goal of this project is to make use of technical instruments that will enable us to facilitate the growth of smart cities and improve the quality of life and standard of living of individuals via the use of technology.

With the help of this project, our province has been able to make headway in the new trends and foster a technological development that works to the Costa del Sol advantage.

A growing initiative

Augmented reality is a tool that is in full growth, and that has allowed to boost initiatives of large multinationals such as Armani, Bershka, Gucci, Coca Cola, Dior, Dacia, Fanta, Louis Vuitton, Mcdonalds, Oreo, Pizza Hut, Piaget, Sephora, Starbucks, UPS, Zalando… among many others that have relied on it, to help improve the customer experience, and therefore consolidate its position in the market, and is that, although these brands have one of the strongest track records in the market, they understand that there is no small effort to maintain the loyalty of their markets.

No matter the size of the business, this technology is supporting the improvement of the world’s markets, making them more efficient and competitive, through the development of realistic experiences that can be customized to each user.

Proven results

Recent studies conducted by NielsenIQ (world leader in audience measurement) have shown that around 56% of customers who experience augmented reality applications feel more confident, and that around 61% of customers are inclined towards providers that offer augmented reality experiences, allowing an average increase of 20% in participation rates and 90% in conversion rates, very interesting figures to support the commercial development of cities around the world.

It’s time to join the Augmented Reality marketing

The projections for the European market estimate that augmented reality and virtual reality tools will have a growth of around 44 and a half million Euros in the next 4 years. Undoubtedly, this is an incredible initiative, with a huge potential to exploit, because we still find a significant gap of brands that have not had experiences with this type of tools, which would lead us to ask ourselves an important question.

The development of augmented reality experiences has become a real competitive advantage within different industries, in addition to helping greater efficiency within work teams, establishing a true win-win relationship.
