FABRIC OF THE NATION

When Xfinity created the world’s first bilingual remote in 2020, Hispanic Americans rewarded them by becoming their most loyal customers. So when America used its power to bring about change that year-the Latino community had something else planned for 2021.  In the spirit of moving forward, the creative team used an American flag to symbolically demonstrate that our country was born out many voices. Users could embed their stories within this virtual fabric and visitors from around the nation would be able explore them all together.

Visitors to the site could explore the flag and hear the stories held within its threads. Story by story and stitch by stitch, the voices collectively weaved the fabric of our nation into a virtual living flag.

Pakko’s role focused strongly on social media but as part of a large creative team, he also worked on design, UX and prototyping areas.
