World of Warcraft

Blizzard is one of those brands that have always offered the best in class gaming experiences, with classics such as Diablo, WoW, and many more. When Pakko and his team were approached to develop an experiential touch screen experience for World of Warcraft, they were dumbfounded and honored. It’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to work on such a fabled gaming franchise.

This project consisted in allowing gamers attending various nationwide PAX conferences to find out who “they were” in the World of Warcraft. Part experimental social network, part gaming loyalty experience — the entire experience was shown in touch screen displays at Blizzard trade show booths. The experience also worked as a stand alone microsite accessible for logged in WoW members as well as through virtual reality headsets.
